Short Term Missions Are Not Enough

It's not enough to send someone on a short-term mission trip for a week and call that "service."

It's not enough to take your youth group to Mexico to build a house and then go back to doing life as if nothing ever happened.

It's not enough to expose people — young and old — to a radical new way of life and never follow up on the dramatic paradigm shift.

It's not enough to do short term missions.

It's not enough.

Short term missions are just the beginning. They are a (legitimate) means to an end, and the end is connection.

Transformation.

Life change.

If the means becomes the end (in anything), then it is not enough.
